About TEISHA ROSE
BBus (Management) BArts (Psychology) BSW (Social Work)
Teisha Rose was diagnosed with MS in 1997, aged 22 years. In the context of her life it didn't make sense. She had always experienced excellent health, and was embracing life in her twenties.
For a number of years Teisha's life was dominated by her condition. Physically she was experiencing many aggressive relapses - hospital and rehab became a revolving door. Teisha feared an unknown future...
Today Teisha's life is unrecognisable to years ago, as she embraces life beyond the hurdle of MS.
The insights Teisha has gained on her journey inspired her to write 'Life Interrupted' and also share H.E.A.L.T.H. as a tool to help others on their journey from Hurdle to Hope.
By connecting with others through Lives Interrupted, blogs, articles, speaking engagements and workshops; Teisha wants to impart confidence that moving beyond an unexpected hurdle is possible.
SOME KIND WORDS...
"Teisha, to me, is one of those everyday heroes that has not allowed extremely difficult circumstances to rob her of living life to the full and being fully present. She is a huge source of inspiration to so many around her. There are so many lessons we can learn from her story, perhaps most importantly, that our often interrupted lives and the hurdles we face can lead us to hope and a new beginning."
